We are situated in the beautiful Rutland conservation village of Lyddington in the East Midlands of England. We have 2 public houses in the village, The Marquess of Exeter which is a former coaching inn and The Old White Hart, where in both you can relax in front of open fires,before enjoying the highest quality of food, fine wines and traditional ales Rutland has to offer. You will also find down the street, the famous grade 1 listed, medieval, Lyddington Bede House, which is owned by English Heritage, certainly worth a visit!
Lyddington B & B is situated in the idyllic county of Rutland, approx 2 miles from uppingham and 9 miles from Rutland Water and Oakham.You will see Lyddington sign posted on the a6003 Uppingham to Rockingham/Corby road.
The B & B is next door to the Marquess of Exeter pub. For direct routes to London by rail, Corby is only 5 miles away and we are just off the A47 which leads you to the cities of Leicester and Peterborough.

Check in between 15:00 – 21:30. Check out by 10am.
We accept payment by cheque in advance or cash on arrival. Payments by card will be operational soon.
Your card details will be taken on confirmation of booking and swiped on departure or cash is accepted on arrival.
If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

The nearest cash machines are in Uppingham; one in the market square and the other on High Street West at Barclays.
Uppingham, Oakham and Stamford all have nice restaurants of varying styles - ask us when you're visiting.
We are very close to many market towns including; Uppingham, Oakham, Stamford & Market Harborough
The Rutland Flyer bus will take you Uppingham, Oakham and Corby and there are train links in Oakham and Corby.
